Order Your Repeat Prescription Online
Due to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), this practice can not fax prescriptions to community pharmacies. Prescriptions can be collected at reception or contact your local pharmacy for information on collection times. Please ensure prescriptions are order in good time for collection.
Repeat Prescriptions
A prescription can be ordered either by telephoning the practice, in person or via our website. Please telephone 028 27441941.
A prescription can be ordered via telephone between: 9:30am to 12:00pm and 3:00pm to 4:30pm.
Please have the name and the dosage of medication you require available to tell the receptionist.
If you need a prescription requested for a new condition please ring the prescription line before 12:00pm and give the receptionist your details and the symptoms you are experiencing. The doctor will review this and if appropriate leave a prescription for you that same day after 3pm at your preferred pharmacy.
Please allow 48 hours (i.e. 2 working days)* from the day you order your repeat prescription until it is available for you to collect in the practice or at your choice of pharmacy. If for some reason your supply of medication will run out before then please mention this to the receptionist.
*Please note if you are ordering a repeat prescription on a Friday this will NOT be available to collect until the following Monday after 3pm.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
*If you don't use it, don't order it!!*
Bank Holiday Arrangements
Please ensure you have a sufficient supply of your repeat medication in advance of any holiday as Dalriada Urgent Care cannot issue repeat prescriptions.
