NEW URINE SAMPLE PROTOCOL

FROM TUESDAY 20TH MARCH NO ROUTINE URINE SAMPLES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR TESTING WITHOUT SPEAKING TO A MEMBER OF STAFF.

IT WILL BE ADVISED THAT YOU GIVE THE RECEPTION STAFF YOUR DETAILS AND THE SYMPTOMS YOU ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING.

A URINE SAMPLE WILL NOT ALWAYS BE REQUIRED FOR TESTING IN ORDER TO RECEIVE TREATMENT FOR YOUR SYMPTOMS.

IF YOU ARE 65 YEARS OLD + IT IS ADVISED YOU LEAVE IN A URINE SAMPLE TO BE SENT TO THE LAB AS WE ARE NOW UNABLE TO TEST THEM HERE IN THE SURGERY.

IF A URINE SAMPLE IS LEFT IN AND THERE IS NO INFORMATION ATTACHED STATING SYMPTOMS ETC. – IT WILL BE DISCARDED AND NOT TESTED.
